My attitudes toward this lesson is useful It helps to develop skills in using a variety of reading strategies, develop the skills to participate in the written text and guess the meaning from text .The teacher opened dictionary online for pronounce that right.Finally, I hope my grade is overcome. I don't want grade "E".

Classic Ann Landers

we studied about Classic Ann Landers. "Ann Landers" She was an advice columnist. We studied about match each letter to Ann Landers with its correct response. Have 4 person wrote the problem to Ann Landers.

I think this lesson is difficult , I scanning and skimming of the sentence.
I can solve the problems by ask my friend and look at dictionary.

Paragraph reading strategies books and novels

we read quickly and answered the questions. Then we read again and summarized each books and novels what it about is. Then we read “Secret of the Christmas box” and answered the questions.

I think this lesson is not hard for me because it has easy context and interesting, but it has some vocabulary is hard.

Extensive reading continuous and Read faster

Today we learned previous lesson that “Extensive reading”.The teacher made the question and we discussed with partners.
- How do you read in English?
- What are obstacles to faster reading? 

 And I think the difficult words and idioms make me confused and take a long time when I read.

I used skimming, scanning and guessing the words in reading.

I think that faster reading was easy but the words were difficult.

Extensive reading

Today teacher started a new topic that was Extensive reading. First of all teacher asked us some question
Do you often read in English for your private study?
I answered that I read newspaper, reading on the internet and reading from English study books.

Then we studied the words about research.
The teacher assigned us to read a very long text. Then we were asked to write a summary of each paragraph. After that we did exercise.

I think that the vocabulary was easy. But summarizing of each paragraph was difficult.

I used scanning, guessing word meaning, skimming.
think the text was hard because the text was academic and have hard vocabulary.

I think that extensive reading is useful for practicing English skills.

Scanning

Today teacher told us made group.
Teacher taught how to use scanning.
- need to have a question in mind
- decide on a key word or expressions that will signal the needed information
- do not read every word
- need to read fast

Teacher assigned us to scan some information in the text and then write answer quickly.
For the first exercise in my group did for 9 minutes because we not be cautious and be careless. For exercise 2 in my group did for 3 minutes because it have less question and we use scanning strategy.Teacher assigned us to do a lot of exercise and reckon time for each exercise.

I think that some exercise was easy.
I used scanning skills.
I think that scanning is very helpful and makes me find the answer faster.

West meets East continue

This week we learned previous topic that we not finished studied last week. The teacher ordered us to read the passage and fill some word.We had read “The Asianization” of the US last week and we did the exercise this week.

We discussed the questions.
1. The text mentions many celebrities, foods, and products from Asia. Which are you familiar with? Do you like them?
2. What products, celebrities, and foods from other Asian countries do you like?

And teacher made the question.

If you met a foreigner living in your country, what questions would you most want to ask him or her?
This is my questions
-What’s your name?
-Where do your from?
-How long have you been there?
-What kind of Thai food do you like?
-What do you think about Thai culture?

And then teacher let us shared question who sat in front of me. After that we did exercise 2 about Essential skill. Before read the passage teacher let us to predict the answer for 3 questions.

I think that grammar was easy.
But the reading story was difficult because it’s difficult words and complex sentences.
I think this topic was quiet difficult because passage was hard to understand but it easily when I use some strategies.
I think that this lesson makes me see different identity of each country. So I should learn a lot.

Fashion (continue) and West meets East

Today we read the story (Splitting hairs)and answered the questions. Then we started new lesson (West meets East).

I think that completing the sentences with the keyword from the text is easy.

I think the lesson is nothing difficult. But there may be some words that can not be translated. Use a dictionary to help translate.

I use reading strategies is to look at the pictures and reading the
rapid and unpredictable content.


I think that learning this lesson is important for English teacher. So I should learn a lot.

Fashions

Today we studied about fashions. We read the story (Fusion? Confusion) and concluded main idea each paragraph.
Then we did the exercise and described the fashion photo

Hyun-Ah has a long dye hair hair. She is wearing black dress , jeans and black derby. 

I think that the story it easy because I interesting fashion and fashion is daily.
I think that the word about hair style it difficult
So I searched the Internet .

I searched the word meaning on the internet and tried to find main idea again.

I used preview , skimming and I can read quickly.

I think that fashions always changes. So I should have own style. When I go aboard, I should notice dressing of other people. It’s different.

Today’s technology continued

Teacher told to student opinions in your class about technology and write in the board.And then studied in your sheet about Researchers worry as teens grow up online.Then we opinions about Researchers and Teenagers.Next I did exercise in sheet.Teacher told to homework.Then we did the exam.

I think that vocabulary expansion is easy because I study this in writing for communication.

I think that the story and some words are difficult. It’s quite long. So I tried to translate the sentences and guess the word meaning.

I used skimming and preview . I can read quickly.

I think that I should decrease using the computer and mobile phone for chatting and playing games. And I should do anything else more such as do exercise, read book, hang out with friends and spend  time with my family.

Today’s technology

First, my friends told that using the technology and adapt in studying English such as use Instagram and follow the English pages. Then we studied in worksheet and made group to summarize the story “Profcasts”. Then we answered the questions and read next story.

I think the easy this week the exercise it easy.

I think the lesson is not difficult. Vocabulary is not difficult But there may be some that can not be translated. I use a dictionary's help to translate words or article.

I think the technology is very useful in nowadays. It can help people for studying.

MADE UP CLASS

I think the lesson is difficult for me.

Natural Disaster

Today I started to the lesson by watching the clip video about Tsunami in Japan. Then we made group with 4 people, made 10 sentences from clip and presented.We discuss and write about natural disaters news. Teacher told us to set up these words What, When, Where and Resulf because it easy to conclude.We answered the question and summarized the story.

I think the easy of this week is making sentences and telling story because I used the words by myself.

I think the difficult this week is the words
So I ark to friends and I searched the internet.

I used skimming, scanning and predicting skills in reading the news.

I read about foreign news better.

On Monday. We took the food to exchange ideas in class by a teacher to sit as a group. 
Each group will be talking about food out of their own group, then we can start the next lesson is a lesson in this Essential Skills training in reading skills Skimmimg and Scanning Reading for detail.



I think that it is easy in this lesson is Everyone had gathered to sit, talk, exchange ideas together.Because it is what makes the lesson more fun than sitting alone.

This lesson is not difficult to practice reading skills on each side.

The strategy that I use in this lesson is the skimming and scanning, because it is a comprehensive and easy to read.


This lesson teaches on the subject of reading various methods is a very good lesson, because there is the practice in lesson.

Introduction & A healthy diet ?

6 days ago I have started to learn ENGLISH READING STRATEGIES. Teachers have introduced subjects and rules of admission afterwards, Teacher asks the question " What strategies do you use in reading?" We know many things about reading strategies that teachers have started teaching the first chapter titled A healthy diet? Start teaching with a Power Point with a variety of food in it. A restaurant in the Power Point is both a food is healthy and unhealthy.

I think the easy thing of this week because learning about food, it's not hard to do the exercises.



This lesson is not difficult because the lessons that are relevant to our daily lives.

  The strategies I use in reading is scanning We scan the text before reading it makes us come across words that we can't read and don't know the meaning of it, we will find the Glossary before you start to read it.


This lesson talks about good health. And eat nutritious foods and useless.
